WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine
The Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Division, Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia has been officially designated by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine on 29 June 2020. The Centre will support WHO in education and capacity-building activities, provide technical assistance to Member states, and collaborate with WHO on regulation and policy associated with T&CM practice.
Terms of Reference
- At WHO’s request, providing technical support to WHO in strengthening knowledge based on traditional and complementary medicine and providing technical inputs that may inform regulation; and
- At WHO’s request and in collaboration with WHO, organize specialized capacity building activities for the Member States and traditional and complementary medicine stakeholders (non-profit).
